Job Summary
Material Handler duties in the paint department with cross-training to other departments (fabrication/machine shop). Responsibilities include receiving, shipping, delivery, handling nonconforming material, inventory tracking (FIFO), PO generation, loading/unloading trailers with a lift truck, maintaining paint-line stock, and safe operation of equipment. Requires lift truck certification or ability to obtain it, teamwork, clear communication, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment; overtime may be required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Lift truck/forklift experience preferred or ability to obtain forklift driver's license upon hire
- General computer knowledge (Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Dexterity to sit on lift truck up to 10 hours per day
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds without restriction
- Willingness to work overtime to satisfy production demand
