Job Summary
Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods throughout the facility. Load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks while maintaining organized inventory and storage areas. Perform daily forklift inspections and report maintenance concerns. Work closely with Production, Shipping, and Warehouse teams to support production schedules, following all company safety policies and procedures. Maintain accurate material movement and inventory records. This full-time hourly position involves indoor and outdoor work in a manufacturing environment, including extended periods of standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Candidates must be experienced forklift operators with valid certification and a strong safety focus.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator in a manufacturing or warehouse setting
- Valid forklift operator certification
- Knowledge of safety regulations and practices related to forklift operation
- Ability to operate various types of forklifts, including sit-down and stand-up models
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials as required
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and production schedules
- Must be able to pass E-Verify
