Material Handler

Move and track materials in a manufacturing setting. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other equipment to transport, store, issue, and deliver steel, parts, and materials. Maintain inventory accuracy by identifying shortages or discrepancies, processing inventory movements in the MRP system using handheld devices, and updating paperwork such as travelers and blueprints. Load/unload materials, assemble containment for movement, and keep work areas clean and orderly. Maintain safety practices, adapt to production schedules, and occasionally work outside standard hours. Requires ability to read/write English and operate material handling equipment; HS diploma or GED preferred.
