Job Summary
Material Handler responsible for the movement, storage, and control of materials across warehouse, manufacturing, and distribution; receives, inspects, and verifies incoming raw materials and components; transports materials to storage, production, or staging areas; supplies production with required materials; moves finished goods to storage or distribution; picks, stages, and prepares materials for shipping; operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment; maintains accurate inventory records; performs cycle counts and assists with audits; labels and organizes materials for efficient workflow; follows FIFO or other inventory control methods; maintains clean and safe work areas; reports damaged materials or discrepancies; collaborates with warehouse, production, and shipping teams; adheres to safety policies and PPE usage; participates in safety and OSHA guidelines; all other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution preferred
- Forklift certification preferred
- Basic understanding of inventory control
- Ability to read work orders and shipping documents
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Basic computer skills
