Job Summary
Material Handler needed on-site in Melbourne, FL to support daily Supply Chain functions. Responsibilities include moving and issuing materials to fill pick lists and Manufacturing Orders, managing storage and inventory, performing cycle counts, reading work orders, loading/unloading materials, moving materials with hand trucks, forklifts or other tools, and recording movements in ERP. Must be able to lift 50 pounds, work on the manufacturing floor, and contribute to monthly/quarterly/yearly inventory audits. Requires US citizenship and the ability to obtain SECRET clearance; high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of warehouse experience are required. Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) is expected.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a warehouse environment supporting the manufacturing process
- US citizenship due to contract requirements and nature of the work
- Ability to obtain a SECRET security clearance
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb a rolling ladder up to 12 feet, reach for items on shelves
- Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
