Job Summary
Receive, select, and load materials; operate a forklift safely and efficiently. Verify order accuracy after packaging and loading, then provide basic customer service to internal and external clients. Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders and maintain a clean working area. Perform daily safety checks on equipment and adhere to all OSHA compliance procedures. Work in a high-traffic warehouse and yard, handling physically demanding tasks outdoors in all weather conditions. Additional duties are assigned as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or 2+ years equivalent experience
- Able to understand and follow safety/work instructions
- Comfortable with physical work in all weather conditions
- Ability to use hand tools and chainsaw
Desired Qualifications
- Forklift experience (sit-down/counterbalance)
- Familiarity with building materials
- Able to measure and calculate material lengths
