Job Summary
Receive, select, and load materials; operate forklifts safely and efficiently. Verify order accuracy after packaging and loading, then provide basic customer service to internal and external clients. Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders and complete daily tasks, while maintaining a clean working area. Perform daily safety checks on forklifts and adhere to all OSHA compliance procedures. Work in a high-traffic warehouse and yard, handling physically demanding outdoor conditions in all weather. Additional duties are assigned as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or 2+ years equivalent experience
- Able to understand and follow safety/work instructions
- Comfortable with physical work in all weather conditions
- Ability to use hand tools and chainsaw
Desired Qualifications
- Forklift experience (sit-down/counterbalance)
- Familiarity with building materials
- Able to measure and calculate material lengths
