Job Summary
Unload inbound freight from trailers and stage stock safely for put-away into storage tiers. Operate materials handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to move goods in and out of staging areas. Inspect merchandise for damage, validate box and pallet counts, and enter data into software for order tracking. Shrink-wrap stacked pallets using a semi-automated machine and stage wrapped pallets for storage. Package goods securely using industrial materials and keep work areas clean while following health and safety policies.
Required Qualifications
- Location: Lakewood, NJ
- Job Type: Full-time, 2nd Shift (12:00pm-8:30pm)
- Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-60lbs
- Ability to stand of long periods
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to safe working environment
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1 year of previous warehouse experience preferred
- 1 year of forklift experience, preferably turret
- Ability to operate a pallet jack
- Basic reading and math skills
- Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills
