Job Summary
Move raw material and finished skids efficiently using pallet trucks to support planned production while minimizing downtime. Perform utility duties on the line as needed, wrap and issue labeled skids to the cooler, and maintain strict housekeeping to eliminate slip and trip hazards. Adhere to all food safety, quality, and Occupational Health and Safety standards, including GMP and HACCP principles, while demonstrating reliability and teamwork in a fast-paced, refrigerated environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to handle heavy lifting of up to boxes and stand for extended periods
- Must be able to maintain a hand truck license
- Proven ability to understand and follow safety and work instructions in English
- Good communication skills and able to work well in a team environment
- Ability to work well under pressure and with little supervision
- Flexible work schedule including mornings, afternoons and weekends
- Requires use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- LANGLEY, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
- 8-hour shift
- Flexible for morning, afternoon shift
- Weekends as needed
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or Grade 12 equivalent is preferred
- 1+ year of experience in manufacturing or food/meat production is preferred
