Job Summary
Operate a forklift and other trained machinery to transport materials, dies, or finished product safely around the plant. Locate, load, and stack stock according to size, shape, and quantity to support machine efficiency. Assist operators with folder/gluer operation, including orienting and feeding flat cartons, and handle make-ready for the next job. Interpret safety rules, job jackets, and procedure manuals to execute tasks accurately. Monitor production quality with regular inspections to ensure customer requirements are met. Clean work areas by blowing dust, wiping machines, and sweeping. Complete all orders and assignments in a timely manner while maintaining continuous safety and improvement efforts. Work in a manufacturing environment with uncontrolled temperatures, heat, dust, and noise, requiring PPE for hearing and eye safety. Perform duties including standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, and repetitive hand use. Full-time position with minimal schedule flexibility, generally available for 12-hour shifts between 4:45 AM and 5:00 PM, three days a week.

- Interpret documents such as safety rules, job jacket instructions, quality requirements, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals and execute as needed
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
- Ability to multi-task, trouble shoot, problem solve, and utilize critical thinking
- High School Diploma or GED
- Regularly standing, walking, climbing, bending, lifting, pushing/pulling, grasping, reaching at, below or above shoulder level, repetitive use of hands/fingers, visual and/or auditory requirements
- Frequently handling up to 50 lbs of weight
- Must agree to variation in work schedules/hours, all duties as assigned, and all overtime
- PPE for hearing and eye safety is provided and required
