Job Summary
Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move raw materials and finished goods, ensuring timely and accurate inventory movement. Receive incoming materials, verify paperwork, and store items; retrieve, stack, and palletize finished goods for shipment while loading outgoing trailers. Perform cycle counts, maintain accurate inventory records, and adhere to GMPs, SOPs, and HACCP standards. Communicate with cross-functional teams to support production flow, assist with training new employees, and maintain a clean, safe work environment. This B Shift role (3:45pm-4am) supports Calbee America's manufacturing operations with a focus on quality, sanitation, and production standards.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to operate powered industrial trucks and other material handling equipment
- Must be able to obtain and maintain forklift certification in accordance with OSHA requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong understanding of documentation related to shipping, receiving, and inventory
- Able to read, write legibly, and communicate in English
- Able to perform essential functions satisfactorily with minimal supervision
- Ability to lift, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Able to stand for extended periods (up to 2 hours)
- Perform medium to heavy-duty work in a manufacturing environment
