Job Summary
Safely operate cargo vans and box trucks to deliver products to customer locations while loading and securing materials to prevent transit damage. Plan and organize delivery routes to maximize efficiency, and assist with warehouse duties including picking, shipping, receiving, and put away when not making deliveries. Communicate delivery updates and customer concerns as needed to ensure exceptional service. This role requires a valid driver's license and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted. Standard Electric Supply Co. is a family-owned wholesale distributor celebrating 106 years of service with 16 locations across Wisconsin, Illinois, and Indiana.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
- Valid DOT Medical Certification Card, or ability to obtain one upon hire
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a warehouse, driving, or customer service role
- Ability to operate a Forklift certification or other warehouse equipment
- Ability to operate a box truck and/or cargo van
- Knowledge of safety regulations in warehouse environments
