Material Handler

Material Handler responsible for measuring and maintaining material levels at machines, performing color and resin changes, assisting with color sample checks, fabricating and recycling materials as needed, keeping areas clean, coordinating with maintenance, and following safety procedures as outlined by Amcor's policies. Duties include monitoring presses, weighing and recording scrap, performing deep cleaning tasks per the Master Sanitation Schedule, pumping resin and railcars, coordinating with maintenance on equipment, and supporting the floor team with various tasks as required. Emphasis on safety equipment usage, shift discussion with the previous shift, and adherence to color/resin change procedures and logging requirements.
