Job Summary
Coordinate operational flow and personnel planning for the 10am-6:30pm shift to ensure sufficient capacity and meet demand output. Identify and solve disturbances in sub-flows, such as damaged product or administrative errors, while escalating cross-departmental issues to quality and warehousing engineers. Oversee quality flow irregularities, inspect workstations using 5S+1 principles, and instruct team members on safety policy changes. Mentor junior handlers, coordinate onboarding, and track competency records to ensure knowledge transfer. Prepare for performance management meetings, analyze trends to propose improvements, and drive departmental projects like value stream maps. Act as the primary contact for shopfloor employees and optimize operational processes to prevent bottlenecks.
Required Qualifications
- Secondary trade school education level 3 or 4
- Thorough experience within logistics
- Ability to work in a dynamic practical environment
- Ability to perform well under pressure
- Ability to work independently
- Flexibility as a team player
- Good communication skills
- Potential for exposure to strong magnetic fields, high voltage and currents
