Job Summary
Ensure material availability and accurate inventory by storing delivered materials in correct locations with proper labels. Take correct and accurate inventory as requested, while keeping regrind waste to a minimum and recording any waste. Return regrind to machines immediately and follow all procedures during color changes. Return unused materials to the correct area and maintain cleanliness of the regrind, label, and mezzanine rooms. Assist the Maintenance and Mold Change Team. This role requires lifting up to 50 pounds and operating forklifts. High school diploma or equivalent preferred with manufacturing experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience in manufacturing environment
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Able to operate Forklifts
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 30 lbs
- Must occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 lbs
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision
- It is required to act in a safe and environmentally responsible manner at all times by adhering to all ALPLA policies and procedures and Safety Standards (OSHA)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience as Material Handler preferred
