Job Summary
Hi-Lo drivers are responsible for the safe and accurate transportation of products within the warehouse, including loading/unloading trailers, following GMP and safety guidelines, inspecting incoming/outbound components, labeling and scanning items, and completing related paperwork (tally sheets, receiving reports, movement sheets, scrap reports, and sales orders). Requires the ability to lift 20 pounds, stand/walk/climb stairs regularly, and follow precise written and verbal instructions. Prior shipping/receiving experience and forklift operation experience are required. Shift is 1st shift, Mon-Fri, with standard warehouse responsibilities in a Grand Rapids area facility.
Required Qualifications
- Prior shipping and receiving experience
- Sit-Down Hi-Lo forklift operation
- Ability to lift 20 pounds frequently
- Follow GMP and Safety guidelines
- Ability to follow precise written and verbal instructions
- Stand, walk, climb stairs on a frequent basis
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time
- Excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with loading and unloading trailers
- Inspection of incoming and outbound components and FG before shipping
- Labeling and scanning of items
- Completion of tally sheets, receiving reports, movement sheets, scrap reports and sales orders
- Experience with dock procedures and QAD or equivalent system
