Job Summary
The Material Handler position is responsible for the direct and indirect handling of materials, including loading and unloading trucks, optimizing operations, and ensuring timely shipment to customers. This role involves data entry in SAP, maintaining proper inventory control through FIFO principles, conducting cycle counts, and ensuring compliance with NSG/Pilkington Standards of Business Conduct. Candidates should have experience with fork trucks, shipping, and warehouse operations, alongside strong organizational and safety skills. Required duties include accurate paperwork completion, tracking receipts, and maintaining work area cleanliness.
Desired Qualifications
- Two (2) years of experience driving a fork truck in a manufacturing environment.
- Certified fork truck operator.
- Prior work experience in shipping, storeroom and warehouse environment.
- Microsoft Office experience highly preferred.
- Safety and goal oriented
