Job Summary
Maintain raw materials for production lines, ensuring proper machines and parts operate correctly. Move and package palletized loads to the yard, practice proper forklift operation, and perform routine maintenance on mixers, loaders, and pumps. Fill out skid labels accurately, palletize using the shrink wrap machine, and keep all machinery loaded with the correct material. Identify various material types, know all material recipes, and immediately communicate unsafe conditions, acts, or injuries to the Plant Manager. Practice proper PPE compliance to maintain a safe working environment and provide excellent customer service. This role requires a certified forklift operator with the ability to lift 75 pounds repeatedly, stand for eight continuous hours, and work in temperature extremes.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a certified forklift operator
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to repeatedly lift 75 pounds to a height of 6 feet
- Must be able to stand and be mobile for a minimum of 8 continuous hours
- Must have the ability to perform physical labor for extended periods of time in temperature extremes
- Must have the ability to use hands, arms and legs to physically handle and transport finished goods
- Must have the ability to twist, bend, reach, squat and mount/dismount industrial equipment and vehicles
- Must be able to work 40+ hours per week and weekends as required
