Job Summary
Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials safely and efficiently within the warehouse, assisting in shipping and receiving processes for accurate loading and unloading. Perform heavy lifting tasks as required while conducting regular equipment inspections to report mechanical issues. Collaborate with supervisors to maintain an organized workspace through sorting, stacking, and storing products. Work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM at Acoufelt, LLC, a provider of soft architectural acoustics solutions for commercial interior projects.
Required Qualifications
- Proficient in operating various forklifts
- Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues
- Experience in shipping and receiving processes within a warehouse environment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and effectively
- Familiarity with materials handling techniques and best practices
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
