Job Summary
Inspect, fill, and load propane cylinders at branch or distribution locations while maintaining yard cleanliness and professional appearance. Paint cylinders and tanks as needed, and complete inspections and repairs for propane cylinders and tanks. Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; record location of units delivered and disposition. Handle and maintain flow of materials and products under safety guidelines, and maintain material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections and operator repairs. Provide service to customers at the dock via filling cylinders. Ensure safety and customer satisfaction are promoted every day. This safety-sensitive position requires lifting up to 50-55 lbs and working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer and math skills for charging customers after cylinder fills
- Must be able to lift up to 50-75 lbs
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather and driving conditions
- A pre-employment drug screening, including but not limited to screening for the presence of THC, will be required
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in the propane industry a plus
- Valid driver's license (preferred)
