Job Summary
Manage all inventories for Finished Goods, Raw Materials, and Supplies to ensure accuracy and timely shipments. Coordinate receipt of raw materials, additives, and goods from suppliers while reviewing open orders to schedule carrier pickups. Lead cycle count activities, ensure system inventory balances are correct, and maintain FIFO rotation. Operate forklifts safely, coordinate shipping/receiving clerks, and prevent nonconforming products from shipping. Ensure the warehouse remains compliant with Safety and 5S requirements through daily audits and a clean, organized environment. Work 7a to 7p shifts with a 4-on/4-off schedule.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalency
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in production planning in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Perform basic math skills and read a tape measure
- Positive team-oriented attitude
- Communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, with little direction while maintaining a high attention to details
- Knowledge and ability to use computer equipment
- Able to operate a Forklift safely, once trained
- Must wear PPE (which includes a vest, safety glasses, ear plugs, steel-toe shoes, bump-caps, gloves as appropriate) as directed
- Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds
