Job Summary
Operate forklifts, conveyors, cranes, handcarts, and power trucks to move materials, parts, assemblies, and finished goods within the plant, office, or warehouse. Maintain records and apply basic skills to complete routine tasks following prescribed steps and clearly defined SOPs under general to limited supervision. Work in a metrics-driven environment with moderate to loud noise levels, exposure to extreme temperatures, and vibration, while lifting over 50 lbs and performing repetitive motions. Requires high school diploma, zero to one year of warehouse experience, and ability to read, write, and perform basic math calculations in English.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Zero (0) to one (1) year warehouse experience or related experience and/or training
- Obtains and/or maintains appropriate licenses / training / certifications, as needed
- Has basic skills training in an analytical / scientific method or operational process area (e.g., material handling and management, logistics, manufacturing production)
- Effective communication skills at a level co-workers and Team Lead/Supervisor can understand
- Ability to read, writes, interpret and comprehend documents written in English and perform basic math calculations
- Ability to perform/operate in a metrics-driven environment
- General computer skills
- Must be able to lift and/or move over 50 lbs
- Must be able to work near moving mechanical parts
- Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions (hot in summer with no AC, cold in winter with limited heating)
- Must be able to work in moderate to loud noise levels
- Must be able to work in high, precarious places
- Must be able to work with fumes/airborne particles
- Must be able to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, balance, climb, crouch, reach, pull, push, grasp, talk, hear, twist, and use hands to finger, handle, feel, pick, or type
- Must be a US Citizen or GC Holder
