Material Handler - 3rd shift

Job Summary
Move raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the facility using a forklift, cranes, hoists, and hand trucks. Accurately remove and stock product according to inventory plans, select items to fill customer orders, and load/unload trucks while verifying correct items. Complete cycle counts, identify and segregate defective material, and perform general clean-up. Inspect the forklift at the start of every shift and report issues to the supervisor. Adhere to all health, safety, ISO, and 6S initiatives. Requires high school diploma, forklift experience, and ability to lift 40 lbs. for 100 feet. Works third shift on the warehouse floor.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- Ability to read and write English (in Quebec, must read and write French)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. for 100 feet
- Ability to perform basic math skills
- Previous forklift experience
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time and perform bending, twisting, squatting, reaching and grasping motions
- Safety Mindset
Desired Qualifications
- Use of handheld measuring tools
- Basic computer skills and knowledge, such as with database programs and Microsoft Office programs
