Job Summary
Material Handler on 3rd shift responsible for pulling orders from inventory, delivering materials to printing presses, loading/unloading with forklift, labeling, creating accurate transfers, maintaining daily logs and WIP inventory, using hand scanners, following safety procedures, and performing general cleanup. Requires forklift operation, ability to read pick lists, basic math, English communication, and attention to detail.
Required Qualifications
- Education And/Or Experience: High School diploma or GED or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English in order to communicate effectively with co-workers, and to follow instructions.
- Strong mechanical aptitude; strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills; basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and measurement.
- Proven ability to properly operate a forklift; ability to communicate/understand basic written and verbal instructions.
- Demonstrated ability to use problem-solving skills in producing jobs effectively.
