Job Summary

Feed, remove, flex, jog, and stack printed sheets, folded signatures, labels, or other in-process product to and from assigned equipment. Load and unload materials onto pallets, trays, racks, and shelves; convey items using hand trucks, electric dollies, or other devices. Stack, assemble, and band bundles using banding machines and clinchers, occasionally operating industrial trucks or electric hoists. Count, weigh, and record units on daily production sheets while attaching tags or marking containers. Stock, move, arrange, and rotate items in accordance with operating instructions or under guidance. Use shrink-wrap, strapping, and manual handling tools including dollies, pallet jacks, carts, and hand tools. Work Sunday through Friday from 11:00pm to 7:00am with occasional overtime; minimum rate is $19.06 per hour including shift differential.

Required Qualifications

Basic knowledge of general warehouse layout
Basic knowledge of item identification codes
Basic knowledge of warehouse procedures
Familiarity with the storage areas
Basic skill in the use of shrink-wrap equipment
Basic skill in the use of strapping equipment
Basic skill in the use of manual dollies
Basic skill in the use of pallet jacks
Basic skill in the use of carts
Basic skill in the use of hand trucks
Basic skill in the use of hand tools
Basic skill in the use of hammers
Basic skill in the use of pliers
Basic skill in the use of strapping and stretch wrapping tools and equipment
Basic skill in the use of tape fasteners
Basic skill in the use of metal band sheers
Basic skill in the use of related equipment
Able to complete appropriate forms relating to stock description
Able to complete appropriate forms relating to quantity
Able to complete appropriate forms relating to unit of issue
Able to complete appropriate forms relating to labeling requirements for incoming and outgoing materials
