Job Summary
Operate motorized forklifts, hand carts, and man-up turret forklifts to move, store, and track materials between warehouse areas and production zones. Perform computerized inventory transactions, bale scrap packaging, and manage hazardous waste shipments in full compliance with DOT and environmental regulations. Adhere strictly to OSHA safety requirements and wear required PPE while working the 3rd shift from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. on Sunday through Thursday. This role supports inventory accuracy and production efficiency within our manufacturing facility in Lenexa, KS.
Required Qualifications
- Forklift certification required or ability to obtain certification
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Basic computer skills, including e-mail and inventory management systems
- Basic math, reading, and writing skills
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ year of warehouse experience preferred
- Experience operating industrial forklifts and standing lift trucks preferred
