Material Handler - 3rd Shift (10PM - 6AM)

Job Summary
Load and unload freight for incoming and outgoing shipments, managing material movement through the facility including finished goods, tools, and packaging. Scan products in and out of locations, pick stock for shipments, and create bills of lading while sending ASNs to customers. Inspect raw material quality visually or with gauges, authorized to stop work for non-conformances, and maintain warehouse organization. Operate a forklift and Combi if experienced, and adhere to EHS regulations while lifting 50 pounds regularly. This 3rd shift role (10PM - 6AM) offers medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401K with match, and tuition reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Able to read and interpret documents i.e. safety rules, work instructions, prints, and control plans
- Ability to use various measuring tools including micrometers, calipers, pin gauges, and other hand tools
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Must work effectively in a team
- Must have excellent attention to detail
- Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to perform excessive walking, standing, bending, climbing, reaching, grasping, and lifting
- Ability to visually inspect parts and use of hands to use measuring gauges
- Ability to run machines and equipment safely and efficiently
- Must be able to observe established EHS regulations, procedures, and practices
- Must be authorized to stop work when a non conformance is noted
- Must be able to perform assigned quality system functions as specified in QMS procedures
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- Experience operating a forklift truck preferred
- Prior manufacturing experience is a bonus
- Experience operating a Combi is a bonus
