Job Summary
Coordinate with the New Parts Storeroom Operations Supervisor daily to verify delivery notes against physical items, escalate discrepancies, and maintain benchstock levels. Manage inbound freight processes by scanning Fast Index, performing cycle counts, clearing tackleboxes, and ensuring RTS clearance. Train personnel and verify OJT records while cleaning equipment to ensure a safe work environment. Monitor priorities including window traffic and receipts from the dock. Maintain high standards of detail orientation and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment. Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems with SAP experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to work as a part of a team in a high stress, fast paced environment
- Must be a self-starter and able to work with minimal guidance
- Must be highly motivated, detail oriented, organized and have the ability to multi-task
- Must possess normal dexterity and be able to lift and move heavy items
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Position requires frequent walking, standing and/or climbing
- Must take extreme care when handling parts within the facility and while working around them
- Adhere to general work rules and company policies and procedures applicable to work area and job functions
- Must be fully engaged to support all company initiatives to achieve the highest standard of work performed
- Working knowledge of inbound freight process
- Ability to train personnel and verify OJT records in all areas of the Plant 81 New Parts Storeroom
- Coordinate with New Parts Storeroom Operations Supervisor daily
- Verify and process each Delivery Note against the physical items present and escalate discrepancies
- Clean equipment within the department to prevent unnecessary maintenance and to display a safe and clean work environment within the facility
- Monitor priorities of Storeroom: Window traffic, Clearing tackleboxes, Receipts from the dock, Maintain benchstock levels, Scanning of Fast Index, Cycle Counts, RTS clearance
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English
- Ability to lift 25 pounds
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- ERP system experience with inventory management experience
- US work authorization required
Desired Qualifications
- SAP experience preferred
