Job Summary
Load and unload incoming/outgoing materials, set up expedites for shipment, and coordinate transportation of parts to various locations. Prepare documentation such as bills of lading, examine contents against records to verify shipment accuracy, and plan equipment allocations to meet production goals. Inspect materials, vehicles, and facilities for safety and defects, coordinate forklift repairs with vendors, and train operators on proper equipment use. Resolve worker problems, recommend personnel actions, and stop production if unsafe conditions appear. Comply with safety regulations to maintain clean work areas. Available Monday through Friday from 6:00am to 2:00pm with overtime on weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Must be able to satisfactorily complete pre-employment screening (background check and drug screen)
- Identified candidates must be able to work overtime (daily, weekends and holidays)
- Must be able to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment
- Report for work on time to support production startup
- Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules
- Ability to read, understand and follow directions/instructions
- Physical ability to mount/dismount forklift through the duration of the shift which requires bending, stretching, stepping, reaching, climbing, and stooping, as well as standing, walking, crouching, and lifting up to fifty (50) pounds
- Forklift Operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift training program is required within the first 30 days of employment for both sit-down, as well as stand-up lifts
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in a fast-paced factory setting
- Previous experience driving a forklift preferred but not required

- Experience operating large industrial equipment is preferred
- Prefer six (6) months of warehousing and inventory experience
- Prefer six (6) months experience operating a fork lift and/or stand-up lift
- Ability to use automated inventory control equipment
