Job Summary
Stock product, customer items, and supplies according to inventory plans while accurately selecting and packaging orders to fill customer requests. Load and unload trucks, verifying correct items, and complete cycle counts to identify and segregate defective material. Perform general clean-up, inspect forklifts at shift start, and comply with health, safety, ISO, and 6S initiatives. This second-shift warehouse role involves working directly on the floor around heavy machinery, requiring the ability to lift up to 40 lbs for 100 feet and perform basic math skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- Ability to read and write English (in Quebec, must read and write French)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. for 100 feet
- Ability to perform basic math skills
- Previous forklift experience
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time and perform bending, twisting, squatting, reaching and grasping motions
- Safety Mindset
Desired Qualifications
- Use of handheld measuring tools
- Basic computer skills and knowledge, such as with database programs and Microsoft Office programs
