Job Summary
Ensure receiving, maintaining, and organizing production inventory in the Packing area. Move and store inventory in the interim warehouse, maintain records through physical inventory counts, and pull and stage product based on order demand. Crosstrain in the Packing Department to unload product from the conveyor line and transfer it to the logistics center. Complete administrative duties including data entry, resolving minor issues, and making cardboard or plastic bales while adhering to safety regulations and reporting unsafe conditions immediately. Contribute to keeping the packing and interim warehouse areas clean and organized. Hours are Monday through Friday, 2:30pm to 11:00pm, with occasional Saturdays. Requires a forklift license, valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds regularly.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- three to six months related experience and/or training
- Forklift License
- valid driver's license
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
- Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms
- Regularly required to stand; walk and talk or hear
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds
- Hours are Mon-Friday, 2:30pm - 11:00pm and occasional Saturdays
