Job Summary
Material Handler (2nd Shift) at O'Neal Steel in Pittsburgh, PA: Load and unload material in a warehouse using forklifts, overhead cranes, conveyors, and other handling equipment; move material to and from trucks or trains and within storage areas; follow established guidelines and procedures with minimal independent judgment. Must operate a variety of equipment (forklift, overhead crane, stacker crane, side loader, yard dog, etc.), use hand tools (grinder, bander, drill, hammer, pliers, screwdriver, wrench), and accurately read a tape measure. Works 2nd Shift (2:00PM - 10:00PM), with overtime as needed. Background check and drug test required after offer. Required Qualifications
- Ability to operate material handling equipment (forklift, overhead crane, stacker crane, side loader, yard dog, etc.)
- Ability to use hand tools (grinder, bander, drill, hammer, pliers, screwdriver, wrench)
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Must be able to work 2nd Shift (2:00PM - 10:00PM) Monday - Friday
