As a Material Handler, the responsibilities include handling in-plant materials, picking up and delivering raw materials, loading coils, returning identified materials to inventory, disposing of scrap, and completing necessary identification and inventory paperwork. Candidates must demonstrate effective material handling, plan material movement for production, assist production operators with timely deliveries, and complete forklift certification. Required Qualifications
- Must be able to plan for movement of needed parts and material for production
- Successfully completes forklift certification program
- Practice safe and alert material handling at all times
- Perform pre-shift maintenance checks of designated forklift equipment and associated record keeping
- Keep all materials and products neat and organized
