Job Summary
Material Handler role on 2nd Shift responsible for preparing and routing materials for the production floor, loading and unloading materials, and moving stock within the plant/yard. Duties include operating forklift or electrically powered devices, locating and stocking received material by receipt date, labeling and tagging items, maintaining organized work areas, maintaining inventory records, assisting with cycle counts and manufacturing order fulfillment, and following supervisor instructions to move materials as needed. Requires forklift certification, SAP/ERP familiarity, basic computer skills, and good English communication.
Required Qualifications
- Forklift certification
- Experience operating forklift and/or electrically powered devices
- High School diploma or GED
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to read and understand English
- Familiar with SAP and ERP systems
- Familiar with shelf life and organization
- Ability to stock received material and rotate inventory by receipt date
- Attention to labeling and tagging items
- Ability to work under supervision and follow work schedules
