Job Summary
Material Handler responsible for receiving, storing and distributing raw materials and supplies. Operates forklift to unload inbound and outbound shipments, places bottles from production lines into the correct grinding bin, and manages material outflow within the grinding room. Performs visual inspections for quality discrepancies, prepares materials for grinding, transports materials and finished products to designated staging areas, and maintains cleanliness of the ramp, dock, and compactor area. Reports locations for proper labeling, handles scrap material routing, and adheres to safety standards and regulatory requirements. Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required. Emphasizes safety, teamwork, and efficiency in a manufacturing packaging environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience operating forklift
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds
- 2nd shift availability
- Compliance with safety standards
- Ability to work in grinding room environment
- Occasional overtime may be required
