Material Handler 2

Read work orders or follow verbal instructions to ascertain materials for movement. Feed, remove, flex, jog, and stack printed sheets, folded signatures, labels, or other in-process product to and from assigned equipment. Load and unload materials onto pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand, installing strapping or padding to prevent shifting during transit. Convey materials from storage or work sites using hand trucks, electric dollies, or other devices. Count, weigh, and record units handled on daily production sheets, attaching identifying tags or labels to cases and bales. Stack, assemble, and band materials using banding machines and clinchers. Operate industrial trucks, electric hoists, or automated equipment to assist in loading. Train and mentor new and existing employees on company policies and procedures. This role requires a good knowledge of warehouse layout, item identification codes, and basic warehouse procedures. Candidates must be able to stock, move, arrange, and rotate items in accordance with operating instructions.
