Job Summary
Move aluminum extrusions from racks to the staging zone for the saw operator while reading tape measures to a 1/32 inch and lifting up to 50 lbs. Stand and walk on concrete floors for eight to ten hours wearing steel-toed shoes, hard hats, and full safety gear. Use hand pallet jacks or motorized pallet jacks to transport materials, adhering to all safety policies and reporting hazards. Prioritize work with deadlines and work independently in a manufacturing environment. Full-time 1st shift (5:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday–Thursday) with overtime opportunities. Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and use a tape measure to a 1/32.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, or move up to 50 lbs.
- Prior work experience performed inside a production/manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, or move up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
- Ability to stand and move around on your feet for 8-10 hours per day on a concrete floor.
- Able to withstand noise levels in the work environment that can be moderate to high.
- The ability to safely perform tasks, adhere to all safety policies and procedures, and correct or report hazards in the workplace.
- Stable work history with at least one (1) year of previous work experience in manufacturing or a production facility.
- Ability to read written instructions and take verbal directions.
- Ability to use a hand pallet and or motorized pallet jack.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize work with deadlines
- Ability to work overtime when required
Desired Qualifications
- Forklift experience a plus.
