Job Summary
Receive raw material, perform incoming inspections, label items, and put-away in proper inventory locations. Ship finished goods by constructing crates, loading products onto trucks and containers, and verifying packing lists. Record all material movements in the ERP system and report job status via workflow management software. Build wood crates and skids using tools like saws and hammers, while loading and unloading items with forklifts, overhead cranes, and rigging equipment. Maintain storage areas, participate in cycle counts and audits, and ensure a safe work environment while prioritizing safety and quality. Adjust schedule as needed for special sales orders.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Shipping & receiving experience
- Forklift operation experience
- Inventory and cycle counts
- Wood working – ability to build/assemble crates and pallets by hand
- Material handling and staging of product
- Good computer skills to learn shipping systems including MS Office, prefer ERP knowledge
- Criminal Background Check
- Drug Screen
