Job Summary
Material Handler/Forklift Driver for Eaton's ES GEIS BLD division based in Reno, NV. Responsible for operating a forklift to move raw materials, components, supplies and finished goods; loading/unloading trailers; picking and pulling stock; organizing pallet areas and storage locations; conducting daily forklift inspections; owning recycling duties; and supporting Lean/Kaizen initiatives, continuous improvement, and safety. Must be able to work overtime with little notice and meet physical requirements (standing, lifting up to 35 lbs, PPE). 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. shift with potential overtime; hourly rate shown as $22.73/hour is a guideline and salary is based on skills and market considerations.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum 6 months of previous forklift experience or material handling experience in a manufacturing or logistics setting
- Must possess a valid and current driver's license
- No relocation package offered. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of the work location to be considered for this position. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitations.
