Job Summary
Material Handler role on 1st shift at S&C Electric Company. Responsible for transporting materials using a pushcart from supply stores to drop-off locations within the manufacturing facility, reviewing job orders and part drawings, utilizing Oracle ERP to determine quantities and locations, and meeting quality and safety standards. Training to advance to intermediate level; forklift certification not required. Hours are 6:00 am–2:30 pm (Mon–Fri) with optional overtime and potential weekend work; HS diploma/GED required; 1+ year manufacturing/material handling experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school Diploma/GED
- 1+ years of material handling or related experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to work independently and meet material requests
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Basic computer skills with internal applications
- Basic math skills
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments such as scales and calipers
- Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
