Job Summary
Load and unload freight, log item numbers for unidentified materials, and track inventory moves using JDE to keep daily operations running smoothly. Maintain a hazard-free warehouse environment by organizing parts, performing physical inventory counts, and managing hazardous waste in line with regulations. Operate forklifts and straddle lifts to move big materials, load and unload trucks, and support production flow while strictly adhering to safety policies and protocols. Read written orders, specs, and labels, including hazardous material warnings, and help train new team members on floor procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Forklift experience
- Comfortable using computers
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to walk
- Ability to use hands to operate tools and equipment with precision
- Ability to talk and listen
- Ability to bend
- Ability to squat
- Ability to reach overhead
- Ability to crawl in tight spaces

- Ability to participate in Poindexter Production System initiatives like 5S, Lean, TPM
