Job Summary
Manage raw materials, scrap bins, and finished goods by moving items to correct locations, scanning into systems, and weighing reclaim material to prevent line stoppages. Empty scrap into compactors, label baled material, maintain foil racks, and deliver required items to production lines while operating forklifts and handling LPG tanks. Complete safety check forms, report incidents immediately, and adhere to strict safety protocols in a loud, wet environment with exposure to fumes and moving mechanical parts. Perform medium physical work involving frequent lifting and standing.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to read and understand English
- Previous line experience with the workflow of all lines
- Computer skills – Oracle material move transactions
- Forklift license- must be capable of completing forklift training and pass written test
- Possess good safety record
- Must note and report any issues before operating
- Report any lift / material / building damage resulting from bumping / hitting at the time of incident
- Practice safe driving / equipment operating work habits at all times
- Immediately report any unsafe act or condition
- Lifting 50 lbs. Maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of object weighing up to 25 lbs
