Job Summary
Pick, pack, sort, arrange, count, and store items for shipment while verifying quality, type, and amount against documentation. Safely operate distribution equipment and handle hazardous materials in a warehouse environment with fluctuating temperatures ranging from room temp to freezer rooms. Complete on-the-job training on ISO standards, shipping/receiving procedures, and ERP systems to maintain high accuracy and meet daily schedules.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 0-2 years related experience
- Ability to lift 40 lbs. without assistance
- Ability to lift up to 25lbs on a continuous basis
- Ability to push and pull up to 25lbs
- Ability to climb
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to safely operate powered industrial trucks
- Ability to operate equipment at various heights
- Basic computer skills to navigate ERP systems, Outlook and shipping software
- Ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice
- Ability to maintain strong attendance performance
- Ability to be ready to start work on-time daily
- Ability to work any shift (with advance notice of shift change)
- Ability to be flexible to work varying schedules, hours, and overtime as needed
- Ability to handle packaged hazardous materials
- Ability to work in cold-room (36-46 degrees F) and freezer-room (minus 4 – 23 degrees F)
- Ability to work in room temperature (59–86 degrees F)
- Ability to stand for full shift
