Job Summary
Receive purchase orders, load and unload trucks, and process incoming freight while inspecting products for quality standards. Use wireless RF devices or desktop computers to print labels, perform put-away functions, conduct inventory lookups, and record material amounts. Accurately apply labels to items and pallets, move materials between receiving, production, and storage areas using equipment like sit-down forklifts, order pickers, and pallet jacks. Lift and move items weighing up to 100 lbs regularly. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment by wearing required safety equipment and participating in cycle counting programs. Work the 9AM to 5:30PM Monday-Friday shift at The Tile Shop Distribution Center.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Forklift, reach truck, and order picker certification or willing to be certified
- Basic organizational, mathematical, and computer skills
- Knowledge of proper safety measures
- Ability to manually move and lift 50 lbs regularly and frequently up to and over 100 lbs
- Ability to work at varying heights
- Ability to stand frequently as well as the ability to walk, sit, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs regularly and frequently up to and over 100 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
