Job Summary
Identify and sort metal extrusions by profile and design specifications, then lift, move, stack, and package items up to 24 feet in length for shipment. Read and process work orders according to production schedules, clean powder-coated extrusions using compressed air, and inspect products for quality defects. Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of equipment while maintaining a safe, organized workspace. Operate a scissor lift if trained and authorized. Work Monday through Friday in fluctuating shifts between 5am-1pm and 6am-2pm.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to production demands
- Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment
- Ability to read and follow written instructions and work orders
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in reading a tape measure
- Experience using hand tools, including drills and sanders
- Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds frequently
- Close visual acuity required for inspection and quality control tasks
