Job Summary
Pull, package, and load material; prepare shipping documents; and account for all incoming and outgoing materials. Communicate with leads or supervisors to resolve discrepancies and complete daily cycle count reports. Inventory received material and enter data into Company ERP systems while filling special requests and performing other duties as assigned. This role involves 80% walking and standing with frequent lifting up to 50 lbs, located at major automotive manufacturing facilities in Sharonville, OH, Livonia, MI, or Dearborn, MI.
Required Qualifications
- Material handling experience in a warehouse environment
- Good communication skills
- Working knowledge of windows-based operating systems and software
- Knowledge of industrial cutting tool and MRO materials
- Ability to learn various computer software
- Ability to operate a forklift or pallet jack
- Shipping and Receiving experience
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation
- 80% Walking/Standing
- 20% Sitting
- Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs with occasional team/mechanical lifting up to 70 lbs
- Occasional pushing and pulling (approximately 10 lbs of force)
