Job Summary
Material Handler 1 is responsible for supporting Distribution Warehouse activities: selecting, stacking, storing, loading, unloading and moving goods on and off a forklift within the warehouse, adhering to cGMP, SOP, D.O.T., and safety guidelines. Responsibilities include unloading trailers, performing forklift pre/post-shift inspections, loading/unloading trucks, moving components from racks to storage, operating pallet wrappers and other powered equipment, data entry via RF scanner, reading dispatches, verifying counts, and maintaining safe operation of equipment. Requires teamwork, punctual attendance, safety compliance, and ability to meet performance standards. Minimum one year forklift/warehouse experience and high school diploma; forklift certification or ability to obtain certification. Location: Mt Juliet, TN, USA.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of one year consumer goods narrow aisle warehouse forklift operator experience or distribution warehouse, including the completion of shipping documents and data entry
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Forklift operator certification or ability to obtain certification
