Job Summary
Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move raw materials and finished goods. Receive incoming raw materials, verify paperwork, and store items in appropriate locations. Retrieve, stack, palletize, and stage finished goods for shipment. Load outgoing trailers and complete all necessary documentation. Perform cycle counts and assist with maintaining accurate inventory records. Ensure proper storage procedures are followed for all materials. Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to support seamless production flow. Attend and apply learnings from training on GMPs, SOPs, HACCP, and SQF. Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow all safety guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to operate powered industrial trucks and other material handling equipment
- Must be able to obtain and maintain forklift certification in accordance with OSHA requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong understanding of documentation related to shipping, receiving, and inventory
- Able to read, write legibly, and communicate in English
- Able to perform essential functions satisfactorily with minimal supervision
- Ability to lift, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Able to stand for extended periods (up to 2 hours)
- Perform medium to heavy-duty work in a manufacturing environment
