Job Summary
Full-time Material Handler (Glass) for our Denver, CO facility focuses on moving materials using vacuum lift assist equipment, manually lifting and moving mobile carts to facilitate the production process; reports to the Production Supervisor. Responsibilities include safe task execution, applying inspection procedures and tolerances to pass/reject materials/products, performing preventative maintenance on equipment, keeping areas clean, following policies, and maintaining a civil, safe work environment. Must be able to read a tape measure, have basic computer skills, and be available for a 5-day workweek with occasional Saturdays; shift is 2nd shift (5pm-1:30am); starting wage $19.50/hr with $4.00 extra/hr for second shift; pays range $19.50-$21/hr (with second shift increasing to $23.50-$25/hr). At least 18 years old; manufacturing/fabrication experience or mechanical aptitude preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Basic computer input and interface skills
- Ability to read and use a tape measure
- Stable work history with previous manufacturing/fabrication experience and/or mechanical aptitude preferred
- Available to work a 5-day workweek with occasional work on Saturdays
- Must be flexible to work in different functions throughout the plant
- Starting wage is $19.50 per hour, with $4.00 additional per hour for the second shift
- Hours: 2nd shift 5pm - 1:30am.
