Job Summary
Maintain inventory of raw materials, on-order items, and work-in-process stock while coordinating material movement into, within, and out of manufacturing. Review daily production schedules, pre-shift meetings, and weekly audits to ensure job coverage, address resource shortages, and resolve 5S issues. Reconcile inventory discrepancies, process scrap, and document safety incidents through established reporting procedures. Operate equipment such as CRTs and forklifts, create standard work documents, and coach team members on performance. Communicate inventory and resource constraints to supervisors and participate in departmental meetings to drive continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience
- Forklift training and certification
- Ability to lift and perform other physically demanding tasks associated with material handling and receiving
- Accurate counting skill
- Some computer skills
- Ability to collaborate and build relationships with team members
